ASSAM: In the two-day visit to Assam, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday enjoyed nature beauty in Kaziranga National Park and Tiger Reserve.
The Prime Minister also enjoyed and ventured into an elephant and jeep safari this morning. He commenced with an elephant safari in Mihimukh area of Central Kohora Range within the park.
Accompanied by park director Sonali Ghosh and other senior officials of the Forest Department, The PM said, Today I am amazed to feel and experience the natural beauty of Assam.
He also fed sugarcanes to elephants and walked down to experience the natural beauty closely.
“This morning I was at the Kaziranga national Park in Assam. Nestled amidst lush greenery, this UNESCO World Heritage site is blessed with diverse flora and fauna including the majestic one-horned rhinoceros,” PM Modi said on ‘X’
The PM also urged people to experience the unparalleled beauty of its landscapes and the warmth of the people of Assam.
